HTM 2016 had been very well structured, highly competitive and innovative course. The summer school had balanced itself in immersing us in both the field of technology and management along with Russian cultural programs in the evenings. The program is well suited for young entrepreneurs (both in the field of technology and management) who wanted to know both sides of the coin such as developing a technology along with marketing and management risks to deliver such product. The only wish was if the school had been extended for another week to learn much more from the valuable lecturers and to take more beautiful memories from other participants from different countries.

I wish to express my appreciation for the opportunity to participate in the High Technology Management (HTM) Summer School at the Samara University. Today, I have my own innovative project. Feature of innovation projects is that they can occupy a new niche in the market or even to open up a new market. In this case, if you are businessman, then you have to think about how to protect your technology or your product from copying. In addition, you must gather a team minded. All of this requires knowledge of management of high technology. I think there is a lot of literature on this subject now. But there is no substitute the practical experience. In the framework of the HTM the atmosphere of a real innovative design was created due to practical exercises and live communication with people working in this area. The discussion on the topic of intellectual property protection abroad was especially helpful for me. I received the necessary information in this area and a set of useful tips. Also, I want to thank all the participants for their constructive and fruitful work. I was glad to meet everyone!

I LOVE RUSSIA AND THE UNIVERSITY OF SAMARA. Never in my life I imagined traveling to Russia, in Mexico don’t talk so much about Russia, and now I think we lost a lot of things between countries. I dreamed of coming to Samara, Russia due to its academic level and what I saw upon arrival exceeded my expectations! It is a beautiful country. Once I reached Samara I received the incredible treatment of me. The teachers were attentive and helpful with us, not to mention the volunteers, who treated us like family and explained the customs of Russia and how they live. During this time we were taught classes which helped to strengthen my knowledge. The University of Samara offers high academic level, I also learned that there are rockets built in Samara which fascinated me. The University of Samara offers big opportunities for technological development, the course of the summer school was an experience incredible that changed the heading of my life. I hope to return to such a fantastic and wonderful country, the University of Samara has offered so much in a short time. What I feel beyond words, is a feeling of brotherhood between two cultures. All I can say is thank you to the University of Samara and the people who are comprised in it, from the unbelievable teachers to the helpers with whom we enjoyed great moments.

I have to say Summer School was incredible and the conferences with Mariella Massaro, Mark Hinton and Saurabh Kwatra were too interesting and for sure they gave a new concept of innovation and how it must be realized. HTM summer school - the best learning experience High Technology Management summer school is not simply for learning things in classroom, it’s also for visiting some special spots, meeting new friends from different countries and enjoying the local life of Russia. The HTM Summer School in Samara was an outstanding experience for both personal and professional development. The perfect balance between university and practical business lectures, visits to different laboratories, complemented by thoroughly organized cultural programs ensured a remarkable week. And all of that within multicultural, international and interdisciplinary environment. All lecturers had well prepared presentations and were approachable for subsequent discussions and questions.
